The owners of Hollys Bar in the Square at Moraira rented their property to us for our summer family holiday in August 2011.They owe us £500 returnable deposit and, following initial contact with them upon our return to the UK, they are now refusing to respond to numerous email and telephone communications whilst they continue to hold on to our money. This is very unacceptable and unprofessional behaviour and may make people think twice about private villa rental in this area! Regards, S. Whilst on holiday in Moraira, we were approached one evening by a dark man trying to sell us watches. He told us they were genuine Rolex watches. My husband bought a watch from him at a good price, but as it turns out, it was not the real thing. Please put this on your notice board as a warning to others that might get conned like we did! I have found an improvement to Moraira Digital as the TV option. Please follow these instructions. 1. Find a rusty old coat hanger. 2. Bend into desired shape, 3. Mount on your roof with cellotape. 4. Switch on your TV. The picture quality is no worse than theirs. The service is far more reliable!! and best of all, you don’t have to send them money nor deal with their (less than friendly/helpful) customer service. You're welcome, R! Sorted !! HI THERE, we have just returned from our xmas holiday in Moraira. We found the place to be very lovely but we were disappointed with the lack of xmas cheer. We didn't see many decorations or xmas trees, and what with the warm weather it really didn't feel like it was xmas at all. New years eve was also a big let down with most places in town being closed. Moraira lacked the xmas spirit! Jones family. Should have gone to lapland then !! - 06.01..12

Good morning, my partner and I are moving to Moraira in January 2012. We have done our research on the area and have a budget of 30.000euros. We plan to find a little finca that we can renovate over time and then sell on. Do you know the best inland villages where we are most likely to find something within our budget please? You are very unlikely to find anything on that budget around Moraira, you would need to look a lot further inland and you may be lucky to find a total ruin in need of renovation. Hello, I am coming to Teulada in mid November and will stay for couple of months. Is there a yarn shop in Teulada-Moraira area? I take some yarn with me but of course I have to buy yarn for knitting and crochet and maybe embroidery too. Do knitters have meetings there? "A friendly warning to anyone considering Moraira Digital as a supplier of TV.....DON'T DO IT!
Think of the worst company you have ever dealt with, with the worst customer service and multiply it by infinity and you have MDC!
To add substance......With the cheap package......only half the channels ever work!! With the seriously expensive option, less than half the channels advertised are even available!!!!
If you need to call them, expect to have the phone picked up and put straight down on you, repeatedly. If you try to visit the offices, do not expect anyone to be there on the times advertised on the door and if they are, expect TOTAL AND UTTER disinterest (at best)

Having difficulty contacting the Auditorium in Teulada.This major venue is a closely guarded secret, it's such a wonderful venue, and they promoted the programmed they should command audiences flocking from far around. WE HAVE just had our holiday in Moraira, the first time we have visited Spain. We loved the area, very pretty, nice beaches etc, but we were so disappointed with the very Englishness of the place. So many bars and shops offering English food etc what a shame that a lovely little town like Moraira does not have the feel of a traditional Spanish town. Dear Sir/ Madam I have been to Moraira on 2 occasions and would recommend it as a holiday destination. Unfortunately this year I have had a bad experience with a villa owner and wish to know how to alert others so that they do not get taken in and book an inferior property. Please could you let me know if there is a complaints procedure in place for holidaymakers who find themselves very disappointed and have had money demanded unreasonably. This villa owner should not be allowed to behave in the manner he has towards my family and me this year and give the town of Moraira a bad name. Dear Moraira, I don't have any gripes with Moraira itself, its a beautiful place to live, wonderful weather all year round, Mediterranean food and life style, I only wish there were less English establishments, a shame to turn Moraira into a little England, as I have heard it called! Not many. Locally, the back of the main car park in Moraira, lots of little pathways through the grape vines. IF any one has any suggestions please let us know.
